40,000 meals distributed to pilgrims in Madinah by UAE Pilgrims Affairs office

 Working together with the sister nation Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates has distributed meals to the pilgrims in Madinah. The Pilgrims Affairs Office of UAE has distributed 40,000 meals to pilgrims in Madinah in the spirit of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, “may God rest their souls.” 

The officials at the office have said that in Holy feelings the meals distribution will continue with cooperation from the competent authorities in Saudi Arabia. 

Meals of nutritional value distributed to Madinah pilgrims 

The Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Head of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office, Dr. Muhammad Matar Al Kaabi, has confirmed that meals that are distributed to pilgrims are set apart by their nutritional value. 

The meals are preserved and delivered under the supervision of a dedicated specialized committee from the office while taking into account that meals are delivered to pilgrims without any process trouble smoothly. 

Meeting held to review housing plans for UAE’s pilgrims

Today a meeting was held with the agenda of reviewing the plan and process for enabling housing for pilgrims of UAE in various holy pilgrimage sites. The other agendas included “coordination on the mechanism of movement and grouping of pilgrims through various means of transportation”. 

The meeting held at UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office was chaired by Al Kaabi and was convened in presence of the Director-General of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Vice President of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office, Muhammad Saeed Al Neyadi, and the Executive Director of Islamic Affairs, Assistant Vice President of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office for Education and Awareness, Dr. Omar Habtoor Al-Dari, and the owners of the Emirati campaigns. 

Al Kaabi has affirmed the zeal of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office to make the Hajj season a success “with the support of the wise leadership and the efforts of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in cooperation with campaign owners to achieve the goals of upgrading the service of state pilgrims and harnessing all possibilities to perform their rituals with ease, taking into account the application of precautionary and preventive measures”.
