The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia have signed agreements on extradition cooperation and mutual legal assistance in criminal matters. The agreements were reportedly inked by Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, UAE’s Minister of Justice, and Ethiopia's State Minister for Justice, Ato Alemante Agidew, in attendance of several officials from both countries. Abdullah Al Nuaimi said that the UAE Ministry of Justice is keen to strengthen cooperation in the legal and judicial fields with Ethiopia. Abdullah Al Nuaimi also stressed the importance of exchanging experiences and following up on the implementation of these agreements to serve the concept of justice and legal assistance.
