 The World Health Organization (WHO) launched a special batch of health accelerators in partnership with the UAE (United Arab Emirates) government. The WHO adopted the UAE government accelerators work model to enhance service delivery initiatives in the areas of health and healthcare at the global level in order to help people. According to Emirates News Agency WAM, this initiative came during a leadership meeting within the framework of the strategic partnership that was signed between the UAE government and WHO last December to promote the acceleration of service delivery in the fields of global health care. The WHO launched the accelerators in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the WHO, and His Excellency Huda Al Hashemi, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategy.
