The UAE (United Arab Emirates) has announced that it will give a year-long paid leave to citizens working in the government sector who want to start their own businesses in the country.  The UAE will implement this measure from January 2, 2023. The ruler of Dubai, vice president and prime minister of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has also confirmed the news. The UAE cabinet has approved the initiative in order to increase the number of businesses in the country. The leave would be approved by the head of the federal authority under which the employee works. Employees can combine unpaid leave and annual leave. The UAE government termed this leave an "entrepreneurship leave."
