China’s New Year Ambitions for Latin America and the Caribbean States

 China and the China-Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) members updated their roadmap in the forum Joint Action Plan (2022-2024) for cooperation in various areas. China’s engagement with countries in Latin America and the Caribbean grew significantly in the past decade. The Chinese government describes its cooperation with the region as strong. The Chinese government is focused on numerous areas such as agriculture, energy, trade, and investment for improvement.
