  A man in Dubai bought the ‘P 7’ registration plate for his car for 55 million dirhams, which equates to $15 million. The wealthy man bought the world’s most expensive number plate from the ‘Most Noble Numbers’ auction on Saturday. Emirates Auction LLC, the first and the largest online auction in UAE (United Arab Emirates) and the Middle East for cars, sold plate number P 7 to the man.  The auction took place at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai located in the Jumeirah region of Dubai. Many people participated in the auction. It featured numbers like AA19, AA80, O71, AA22, W78, Z37, X36, H31, N41, and J57. The number plates AA19 and O71 were sold for AED 4.9 million and AED 15 million, respectively. The Q22222 number plate was sold for AED 975,000. Before the launch of the auction, the host of the event said, "Sixteen years ago, a world record was set in Abu Dhabi when a number plate was sold for Dh52.5 million. Will we set a new world record?"
