 The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that he had held an "urgent call" with French President, Emmanuel Macron, after Russian forces' latest attacks on Ukraine. Zelenskyy wrote on Twitter, “I had an urgent call with Emmanuel Macron . We discussed the strengthening of our air defense, the need for a tough European and international reaction, as well as increased pressure on the Russian Federation. France stands with Ukraine.” Macron expressed France's commitment to step up military aid to help Ukraine.
