 11-year-old Aderrien Murry, who was shot by an officer after calling police over a domestic disturbance case, has been discharged from hospital, his family says. Mississippi police arrived at his house on Saturday, then shot him in the chest, according to his mother. While the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is probing the shocking incident, the officer involved has been placed on leave. His mother, Nakala Murry, has asked for the officer to be dismissed and charged. Meanwhile, the child is recovering at home after being discharged from a local hospital, where he received treatment for fractured ribs, a collapsed lung, and a lacerated liver.
