UAE: Many Indian schools report 100 percent pass rate CBSE

The Class 12 CBSE results were announced on Friday, and many Indian schools in the UAE reported a 100% pass rate, with some pupils earning scores of 99% or higher. The Class 12 results from India's largest school board, the Central Board of Secondary Education, have a significant impact on pupils' chances of getting into universities.

Despite the difficulties of the COVID-19 epidemic, which saw a new structure for the Class 12 test, schools in the UAE using the CBSE curriculum revealed high grades on Friday. The exam was divided between Term 1 and Term 2 exams this academic year; the results on Friday were aggregated from both terms.

The leading students from UAE-based schools were also revealed. At Asian International School in Al Ruwais, student Atharva Tyagi received a 99.4%. Aryan Muraleedharan from The Millennium School in Dubai received a score of 99 percent, and classmate Liam Pimenta received a score of 98.8 percent.

Anveeshka Chouhan received a 97.8% grade point average at the Delhi Private School (DPS) Dubai. "I knew I had done well, but I never expected I would top my class," she said. She intends to enroll soon in medical school.

Mehul Agarwal and Sahil Khan both received 97.2 percent at GEMS Our Own English High School (OOEHS) Sharjah. Mehul told Gulf News: "Online classes made possible by the pandemic allowed me more time to concentrate on my studies, which helped me be more productive every day." I'm passionate about computer science and am greatly motivated to continue my studies and pursue a job in artificial intelligence.

My secret to success, according to Sahil, was to never miss a class, especially the extra classes when the majority of the syllabus was covered. Khan plans to enroll in a bachelor's degree program in life sciences at McMaster University in Canada before pursuing a medical degree.

Punit MK Vasu, CEO of the Indian High Group of Schools in Dubai stated, "To ensure total readiness for the tests, pupils were divided into smaller groups, and remedial and performance-boosting lessons were introduced based on their internal performance." "Practice papers that were based on the new assessment pattern supported this.

"This year, the teachers and students had to invest twice as much effort as they prepared for the board examinations in the new format, consisting of two major exams, especially the MCQ [Multiple Choice Questions] paper [the first by CBSE]," said Vandana Marwaha, principal and director of DPS Sharjah. Such outstanding outcomes demonstrate our pupils' flexibility under every circumstance.

The school extends particular congratulations and celebration to the exceptional performance of the determined pupils, she continued. These pupils all received marks of at least 85 percent, and two of them received marks of at least 90 percent.

Credence High School CEO-Principal Deepika Thapar Singh said, "The outstanding performance of our first group of Grade 12 students has us over the moon. This group of students showed outstanding resiliency by participating in two-semester exams with novel forms and excelling in them.
