Egypt welcomes the visiting UAE President

 President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan began his official tour to Egypt by landing in Cairo.

Sheikh Mohamed and his accompanying party were welcomed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as well as a number of ministries and senior officials upon their arrival at Cairo International Airport. On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the two leaders exchanged greetings.

The members of the delegation that accompanied Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed were Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Ministry of Presidential Court, and Ali Bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council.

Israel issues latest forced evacuation order in areas in Khan Younis

  The Israeli army’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, has issued the latest forced evacuation order for civilians living in nine areas in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Adraee said that the army was expanding its operation and “intensifying sudden and concentrated firepower”. The spokesperson called on residents to evacuate westward. So-called Israeli safe zones, including Al-Mawasi in Khan Younis, are routinely attacked despite the army forcing Palestinians to move to those areas.
