UAE: Aboard the Logos Hope, Abu Dhabi welcomes the largest floating book market

 The largest floating book fair in the world, located aboard the Logos Hope ship, has arrived at Abu Dhabi's Mina Zayed Port. The Department of Culture and Tourism — Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi)'s Abu Dhabi Arabian Language Centre (ALC), which is a component of the book fair, officially opened it. 

Its arrival is a part of the special activities for the May 22–May 28 Abu Dhabi International Book Fair. While everything is going on, The Logos Hope will stay in Abu Dhabi until June 4, 2023.

ALC chairman Dr. Ali bin Tamim, DCT Abu Dhabi chairman 1k, DCT Abu Dhabi undersecretary Saood Alhosani, director general for tourism Saleh Al Geziry, AD Ports Group chief executive officer of ports cluster Saif Al Mazrouei, and other officials attended the opening ceremony. Sebastian Moncayo, advance preparation project manager for Abu Dhabi at the Logos Hope exhibition, also attended.

The ALC is taking part in the exhibition with a cultural program that offers events for the general public and schoolchildren, including kid-friendly educational programs, artistic and technical workshops, and niche corners.

The floating display of Logos Hope is a creative addition to Abu Dhabi's cultural program. According to the strategic goals of the ALC, this innovative offering reinforces our efforts to foster a culture of reading and to provide all members of our community with the broadest access to books and information resources.

All Abu Dhabi citizens will have the chance to explore the magnificent world of books in the upcoming weeks, which will feature a variety of genres to suit all tastes.
