Gigi Hadid's representative said in a statement, “Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license. It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear."

In recent months, reports emerged that Gigi had been linked to famous actor Leonardo Di Caprio. In early July, Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio and American supermodel Gigi Hadid were spotted at two separate parties in the Hamptons.

Earlier, Gigi was in a relationship with an English musician. Gigi Hadid has a daughter with Zayn Malik, an English musician and former member of boy band One Direction. Kai, their daughter, was born in September 2020. They reportedly ended their relationship in 2021. Reportedly, Malik pleaded not guilty to four counts of harassment against Hadid's mother, Yolanda. According to reports, a Pennsylvania judge sentenced him to 360 days of probation, as well as anger management and domestic violence classes.
