India-Canada Row: Jaishankar Makes India's Stand Clear on Visa Suspension, Says, ‘Not Safe…

In recent developments, the diplomatic relationship between India and Canada has faced a rocky road due to the suspension of visa services by the Canadian government. The move has raised concerns and prompted a response from India's Minister of External Affairs, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, who has emphasized India's concerns regarding the safety and well-being of its citizens.

The suspension of visa services by Canada has caused quite a stir, as it directly impacts many Indians who rely on these visas for various purposes, including travel, work, and study. The decision, which came into effect earlier this year, has affected a significant number of Indian students, professionals, and families who had plans to visit or move to Canada.

Minister Jaishankar, in a recent statement, expressed India's disappointment with Canada's decision to suspend visa services, highlighting the adverse consequences it has had on the Indian community. He stressed that the move has left many Indians in a state of uncertainty, affecting their plans and aspirations.

One of the main concerns raised by Minister Jaishankar is the well-being and safety of Indian citizens in Canada. He pointed out that many Indian students and professionals have faced difficulties due to the suspension, including those who were already in Canada when the decision was announced. Their access to essential services and support systems has been compromised, creating a challenging situation for them.

Jaishankar also called for a reconsideration of the decision by Canada, citing the long-standing friendly relations between the two countries. India and Canada have shared a history of collaboration in various fields, including trade, education, and cultural exchange. The suspension of visa services threatens to strain this relationship, and Minister Jaishankar has expressed India's hope for a swift resolution to the issue.

In addition to the safety concerns, the suspension of visa services has also impacted the educational and professional aspirations of many Indian students and workers who had planned to pursue opportunities in Canada. The disruption caused by the visa suspension has left them in limbo, affecting their career prospects and causing undue stress and anxiety.

In conclusion, the India-Canada row over the suspension of visa services is a matter of concern for both countries. India's Minister of External Affairs, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, has made it clear that India values the safety and well-being of its citizens in Canada and hopes for a resolution that will address the challenges posed by this suspension. As diplomatic discussions continue, it is essential for both nations to find common ground and maintain their historically friendly relations.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel will “take control of all” of the Gaza Strip, signaling an unprecedented escalation in the ongoing conflict. In a video posted to Telegram, Netanyahu emphasized that military operations are advancing rapidly, with no intention of backing down. “The fighting is intense, and we are making progress,” he said, framing the offensive as necessary for Israel’s long-term security. But as international pressure mounts, his government is walking a tightrope between military dominance and global condemnation. The Israeli military has ordered mass evacuations in southern Gaza, warning residents of Khan Yunis and surrounding areas to flee immediately ahead of a devastating assault. Arabic-language spokesman Avichay Adraee described the coming attack as ...
