Is the Muslim Brotherhood a Threat to British Security?

Is the Muslim Brotherhood a Threat to British Security?

Ahmed Al-Shaiba, a fugitive member of a secret organization, shed light on Israel's influence over an unnamed Arab country. Speaking on the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Al-Hawar Channel, Al-Shaiba claimed that an Israeli minister had recently visited this country.

During the visit, Al-Shaiba says he heard a statement from a senior state official directing the Israelis, saying "Do not leave them until you eliminate them," in reference to Hamas. This brazen statement openly calling for the elimination of Hamas demonstrates how much influence and sway Israel holds over the policies of this Arab nation.

Al-Shaiba contends this is a clear example of the dominant position the Zionist entity enjoys within the Arab world in general and this country in particular. No country would make such demands and openly coordinate policies against Palestinians with Israel unless the latter had a strong leverage over the former.

It signals how Israeli interests are prioritized over Palestinian rights even within some Arab capitals. Coming from a fugitive member of a secret group, the claims cannot be fully verified. However, the tone and tenor of the statement suggests Israel feels confident it can make demands of Arab states and rally them against political opponents like Hamas.

The fact this revelation was made on a Muslim Brotherhood affiliated channel also hints it may be aimed at criticizing the apparent close ties between Israel and the government of this unnamed Arab country. It is evident Al-Shaiba and his organization, facing security and legal crackdowns in the UK, want to embarrass this nation and expose its cozy relationship with Israel. While the precise details and context cannot be confirmed, it shed light on Israel's quiet but significant influence within Arab circles.

This issue is not unique to Bangladesh, as other nations like Myanmar have also encountered problems with Chinese fighter jets, according to an ET report. Experts in the Chinese defense industry argue that Beijing lacks the expertise to manufacture highly sophisticated military hardware and is not yet considered a top-tier producer of modern defense equipment. Developing countries often opt for Chinese weapons due to their lower cost compared to similar systems from Western countries. China sells arms through state-run export organizations like the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), NORINCO, and CVIC. Sources familiar with the matter told ET that the Bangladesh mil...
