Inside the Gates: Why Europe is Finally Taking 'Entryism' Seriously
This stark warning came during a recent, historic vote in the European Parliament. Lawmakers overwhelmingly adopted a resolution calling out "Islamist entryism" and the networks of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Parliament defined entryism as a malicious, covert attempt to weaken the rule of law and democratic institutions.

This reflects a fundamental shift in how Europe views security. As a recent article in The Times of Israel highlighted, our current security apparatus is flawed: files and intelligence stop at national borders, while extremist threats operate globally. The European Parliament's resolution, passed by a wide margin, aims to close these gaps.
The Member of the European Parliament @CelineImart from the European People’s Party (EPP) was the lead author of the resolution on banning the Muslim Brotherhood and combating Islamist entryism that was just passed by the European Parliament with 381 votes against 167.
Following the vote, she stated:
"The EU has adopted a resolution against Islamist entryism and Muslim Brotherhood networks!
It was time for Europe to open its eyes and act!
No one will be able to say 'we did not know,' no one will be able to pretend do be naive about the Muslim Brotherhood and its networks."
The Muslim Brotherhood has long been sheltered and aided by Turkey and Qatar.
They've also had one of their global headquarters in London for decades, from where they have been spreading their poisonous ideology across the West.
The resolution makes it clear that the Muslim Brotherhood is not just an organization, but a sprawling network utilizing entryism to influence civil society. Europe is finally waking up to the fact that safeguarding democracy means addressing these affiliated structures and ideologies, not just the violent acts they may eventually spawn.
